Navista to highlight commitment to community oncology at 2025 Community Oncology Alliance Conference

DUBLIN, Ohio, April 23, 2025 – Navista, Cardinal Health’s growing oncology practice alliance, will showcase its mission of empowering practices to deliver patient-centered care at the 2025 Community Oncology Alliance (COA) annual conference April 29-30 in Orlando. The COA Community Oncology Conference is one of the largest annual gatherings of practice leaders focused on ensuring continued patient access to high-quality, affordable, cutting-edge cancer care close to where they live and work.

“COA’s annual conference is a critical annual forum for community oncology to come together to advocate for a better future and the perfect venue for Navista to showcase how we provide the support practices need to fuel their growth—while maintaining their independence,” said Navista General Manager Dan Duran.

The Navista and Cardinal Health commitment to community oncology will be featured at the 2025 Community Oncology Conference in a variety of touchpoints including general sessions, the exhibit hall floor and during the COA Fellows Networking Reception.

Navista Chief Medical & Development Officer Nini Wu, MD, MBA, will appear on the April 30 general session panel “Future Implications of Artificial Intelligence in Oncology.” During the session Dr. Wu will discuss the evolving role of AI in oncology, examining its potential benefits, challenges and future implications for patient care and practice management.

Cardinal Health VP, Federal Government Relations Jerrica Mathis will appear on the April 30 general session panel “The Impact of Politics & Policy on Community Oncology.” During the annual COA panel discussion moderated by COA Executive Director Ted Okon, Jerrica will lend her perspective on how happenings in the White House and across Capitol Hill are poised to impact community practices today and tomorrow.

In the exhibit hall, the Navista booth will feature demonstrations of Navista AI-enabled technology and analytics solutions. Navista is also a proud sponsor of the COA Fellows Networking Reception, a private gathering April 29 for hematology/oncology fellows interested in learning more about the independent oncology setting.

COA is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for community oncology practices and the patients they serve. For more than 20 years, COA has been the only organization dedicated solely to community oncology where most Americans with cancer are treated.

“As a community oncologist and COA board member, it’s been rewarding to educate both my elected officials and patients about important policy issues and be part of affecting meaningful change,” said Ravi Rao, MD, hematologist/oncologist at Navista member practice California Cancer Associates for Research & Excellence (cCARE). “Attending COA this year as part of Navista, I look forward to continuing this important work to forge and protect the future of community oncology for our patients, practices and our communities.”
